Day Camp Students Present End Of Summer Gallery And Dance Recital

The Salvation Army Philadelphia Citadel Corps Community Center hosted an end of summer gallery opening and dance recital, highlighting the accomplishments of children from its summer day camp program. Themed Let's Go Philly, the works and performances from the children focused on characteristics of Philadelphia, including brotherly love and liberty.

Providing Supportive Housing to Formerly Homeless Men and Women

The Salvation Army operates supportive housing programs throughout the Delaware Valley that provide permanent housing to formerly homeless men and women. The Salvation Army Reed House, offers 66 single resident rooms to those who fall victim to chronic homelessness, which entails multiple shelter stays within a short period of time, as well as those living with disabilities.
