Dear Friends,

It is our great pleasure to be serving in the largest city of Vermont.   We were appointed to Burlington in February of 2006 leaving our previous post in Laconia, NH. Since our arrival we have discovered that Burlington has a wide range of out door activities to enjoy around and on Lake Champlain.  Also, Burlington offers a blend of old New England charm, arts, culture and nature.

As Salvation Army officers, we proclaim the gospel and serve as administrators, teachers, social workers, counselors, youth leaders, and musicians.

We are committed to providing services and programs to assist the people of Burlington.

In 2007,  42 children attended our residential Camp Sebago in Standish, Maine for a week.

During the holidays we provided over 620 families (Christmas) The Friendly Kitchen (Soup Kitchen) served over 41,000 meals this past year. We are the only soup kitchen in Burlington.

For more information about our programs and services or to volunteer or make a donation, please contact us.

Blessings,

Karin and David Dickson, Majors
