Energy Plant Explosion in Connecticut Receives Salvation Army Aid
February 8, 2010 – Following a massive gas explosion at an unfinished energy plant in Middletown, Connecticut, yesterday, The Salvation Army was on-site to provide assistance to first responders. Salvation Army staff and volunteers are continuing to serve meals and beverages to support the work of the emergency personnel who are continuing to labor at the scene and thank the public for keeping those affected in their prayers.
